Sean has been delivering CPD workshops covering subjects such as Inspection, Observation, Quality processes, Training skills and Leadership and Management for post 16 managers and practitioners very successfully for over 16 years, in the UK and recently in Dubai. CPD e-learning materials development is another area of expertise as is the delivery of CPD webinars.

Sean has worked with a considerable number of learning delivery organisations to help them improve their performance. This includes teacher and trainer development, quality systems enhancement and introducing or refining Observation systems. His support has helped several organisations achieve inspection grade 1s.

Sean has worked in the sector since 1981 as a teacher and a manager in a range of contexts including work with Learning Difficulties learners and elite sports performers. He has extensive curriculum development experience and has been involved in introducing a wide range of innovative programmes. In addition to this experience Sean also taught in schools and post graduate education at Sheffield University. More recently he has experienced prison life – thankfully just to help the service develop an observation process for Industrial Workshops.

Sean is particularly proud of the fact that he walked across the Swiss Alps, and developed the first nationally recognised Observation of Teaching, Training and Learning qualification in the UK. In addition to teaching and training, Sean also worked for 3 years for the organisation now called Ofqual, and for various education inspectorates as an additional inspector from 1998 to 2014. He is also a Fellow of the Society for Education and Training and has a Cert ED and a Masters Degree in Education.
