Overview

Embedding the EIF into a training providers quality arrangements, culture and values

This workshop follows Maureen’s keynote speech on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Parameters during Inspection at AELP's recent ED&I Summit held in September.

ED&I are vitally important to providers in the FE and Skills sector, not just for the Ofsted EIF and inspection purposes, but importantly for the development of an inclusive, safe, positive working and learning culture and community for our learners, workforce, stakeholders and visitors. This approach includes placing high value on the health, welfare and wellbeing through ED&I.

During the workshop delegates will explore the key meaning of ED&I in the context of workplace learning, the EIF requirements and for training providers, our learners, and employers. The half-day session also aims to help develop a greater understanding of contextualising ED&I into funded provision and types (including apprenticeships and adult provision).
