Stand 1 - Daden Limited

Immersive learning experiences help students train and learn by placing them in simulations of real environments where they can experience similar challenges to real-life tasks, but at times to suit them and in complete safety. Daden Limited have specialised in the development and delivery of 3D immersive training experiences to universities, colleges and other public sector clients for over 10 years.

Our Fieldscapes system was developed with funding from InnovateUK and lets your own organisation’s eLearning teams and tutors develop 3D and Virtual Reality immersive learning experiences without the need for any coding skills. The single and multi-user 3D exercises can be experienced through ordinary PCs, tablets or smartphones, or with VR headsets such as Google Cardboard or Oculus Rift.

Daden clients have included The Open University, Bournemouth University and Barnfield College, and two of our projects have won the Times Higher Education Award for Outstanding Use of ICT.

Stand 2 - MWS Technology

Aptem solves many of the challenges surrounding delivery of higher level apprenticeships in universities.

The employer CRM enables you to manage your sales processes with employers and capture opportunities. Having secured new opportunities, Aptem enables you to upload vacancies and manage applications. Successful applicants pass seamlessly into Aptem’s remote, paperless onboarding with electronic signatures.

Why do the same thing twice? Students must provide their information for the student registration system and then submit the same information for an ILR. University registration systems can be populated with the information collected in Aptem. No more asking the apprentice to enter information twice.

Aptem also works in conjunction with your VLEs to create learning plans that facilitate learning delivery and gathering of evidence, for the Standard, without compromising the overall learning experience.

Employers can gain insight on apprenticeship progress using Aptem’s integrated employer portal.

Furthermore, reporting in Aptem is agile. Within seconds, generate the reports you need using just a few clicks.

End-to-end technology means efficiency. To find out more, please contact us or visit our stand.

Stand 5 - Emsi UK

The Government and industry leaders are throwing down the gauntlet to universities, challenging them to make it their mission to teach the skills that are needed by employers and to achieve better employment outcomes. However, better alignment of courses with industry needs and achieving better employment outcomes for students have not traditionally been issues at the top of the agenda for most universities. How, then, can they be tackled?.

The key to solving both challenges lies in better use of regional insight to understand employer demand. Our aim is to give universities this insight, so that they can answer these challenges and ensure they are making great use of public funds. We are currently working with universities across the country and internationally to help them solve these issues in their portfolio planning, student engagement, degree apprenticeships, and impact assessment.
